We started timidly in September 1986, during the era of pirate radio. At a time when radio meant purely personal pleasure, while it was broadcast secretly, through teenage - youth rooms from which the well-known night wells were created.
Those good old days when in our shows we chose the music freely, depending on the mood of the moment and not based on the paid list of the record company and the copyrights that we pay today. Back when we discussed with our listeners about anything on open lines that were not answered by secretaries and telephone operators.
Of course, things were not as easy as they seemed. The expenses were high and the resources were minimal! But who can forget the famous parties we organized for this purpose? Few believed that our hobby could become a profession, and even fewer dared to make it a reality.
But let's get to ours. Sky Radio started from the love of a group of young people for music and communication.
In less than a few weeks we received so many messages of support and love that gave us the motivation to continue to this day to play the best music, always with the best quality, without stopping for a moment to improve ourselves to become even better.
The years passed and our love for good and quality radio grew. The big decision was made in November 1992 and Sky Radio acquired the professional face that it maintains to this day.
